2016 tacoma tuner

I have a 2016 Tacoma 3.5l v6. I'm trying to find a tuner to take the power lag out any ideas!?

So assuming you don't live under a bridge, I'm gonna save you some hurt.

There is no tuning the engine or any ECU flashes for the 3.5L.

Best to delete this and run away, but welcome to TW, see you are a new member.

 

Well I hear there might be a TURBO diesel alternative coming in 2018.

Ok, I'll educate you a little here, and no disrespect. When you post something like this on the site you sound like a troll. You know what that is right? If not search it out. Recommend you do some searches on TW, cause the issue with off the line power has been discussed a lot on this forum, plenty of info been shared. I know you are new here and we all have posted some things to TW we regret in the end cause we are new to TW and don't fully understand what the members are like and what is considered respectable. It's made up of not just owners but enthusists too. It's ok to ask questions, but throwing out a question like you asked sounds like someone who is just dissing the vehicle and looking for trolling for fun.
Don't want to put you off, enjoy the site, partipate, comment, and have fun. There is a lot of great conversation here and a lot of great ideas from guys/gals with a ton of experience and suggestions.

Hey OP, Toyota is kinda or territorial with their ECU codes so tuning is much of an option

Ok well was not trying to be a troll, was asking a serious question. Iv been looking around and have found nothing, so I want to see if you guy had any ideas or any info about something coming out. There may be tuner and performance options down the road. Unfortunately, with new model/engine configurations it takes time. I would suggest maybe sending an email off to URD and see if there is anything in the works. To all of the people that snapped at you like you're an idiot need to check themselves.

 

Good luck finding a tuner for pretty much any newer Toyota vehicle. Toyota encrypts their ECU, TCU and it's really difficult to crack. If I'm not mistaken, there is really only one true tuner available for the 2nd gen even 11 years after it's introduction.
