2016+ Tacoma Winch Bumper Development

As we have done for the 05-11 and 12-15 bumpers, we plan on doing the same for the 3rd Gen Taco owners and want to involve TW forum members as we always have.

We have a 16 coming in tomorrow and will be taking some initial measurements and come up with a basic design then plan of attack.

My intent is to have something ready for purchase by May or sooner that will be similar in scope and price of our other Taco bumpers. Once we have a final prototype, pricing and a schedule for production I'll open up a group buy.

So, here we go. I'll post a few pics after we finish tomorrow and some initial feedback and ideas.

I have one on my 15. Us offroad makes a great product.

 

I'll be curious to see how they pull this off for the 16. It is built so much different than the FJ and 2nd gens. Looking forward to it.

@usoffroad, are those shackle mounts through-welded with additional bar stock behind the bumper plate front? Just curious, since I don't see any photos of them specifically on the site. thanks!
