    BawlzTaco, I didn't read where the OP specifically said it was Toyota's poor quality in windows that lead to the seemingly easy breakage.

    Sorry to hear about this OP. Like others have said, the guy probably had a center punch. I'm surprised he grabbed your radar detector by stretching through the window instead of just opening the door.

    Watching the video you can tell it's not this guys first rodeo. He probably didn't open door the the alarm doesn't sound and did it so quick. I usually take it off over night but this jerk attacked at 8:45 pm. I guess it's all game for them as soon as it gets dark and they don't wait till late night to attack.

    got anyone who's wondering on price to replace driver window cost is $219.99 for glass and $250 for install at Toyota. I'll be going somewhere else lol. Found a place for $216 with install.

    I've generally only seen that for windshields. Inducement for people to not drive around with stuff blocking their vision.
