Fantastic if one's wallet has the chops!

I just tend to prefer lightly used choices. For years I ran at least 3 vehicles with 2 drivers. SCCA street car, small truck, nice CUV. Had the bases covered for that phase of life. Even after wife 1 passed away, I stayed with the 3 vehicles. Not sentimental reasons related to her, just liked having purpose vehicles. :D

Me too. It's one reason I have a more conservative view on some things. Just because I earned it doesn't mean I shouldn't be careful how I spend it. I enjoy many other things in life besides vehicles !

Are those German machines you speak of the automotive variety? Having owned some from more than one German manufacture, I consider the quoted statement a compliment for the Tacoma.:confused:

Had both 2nd & 3rd in MTs. 3rd is superior in every way, except low end torque.

I said mine was slow and yours couldn't keep up. I wasn't talking about speed, I was talking about off-road worthiness. If I wanted to go fast I wouldn't have bought a taco. And the 3rd gen is the ugliest Toyota ever.
