Land Cruisers are Toyota's flagship vehicle. It sells poorly here in the U.S. but it's popular all over then world. A 4Runner has nothing on it. It is the main reason why Toyota is known for reliability and it's an engineering masterpiece of ultimate off-road capability and comfort. Hell, it's tested on 6 continents in the worst environments.

That's great if you live outside the US, I don't, and when I travel over I'll get ppl to take me in their LC.
Moreover, for the price of a LC I can get a 4R And a Tundra to tow what the LC can't and a spare vehicle to boot

    Hope that helps too
    Cheers!

For the non-DIY they have a two yr Toyota care, after that they could still visit the stealership and be ok, because after all the drive-train warranty is 60k and the emission warranty is 80k.

    Cheers!

I love mine. Almost 7k miles and going strong with no issues besides a squeaky clutch! The 3rd gens are just plain sexy.

Yes....but not I would do a few things differently.

-Rear leg room is still laughable in the DC: an AC would overall be more useful because it's more convenient for gear and I wouldn't need to constantly make appologies/excuses when trying to cram adult-sized friends in the back of my DC.

-Entune sucks. JBL sucks. The only thing I would miss from the premium tech package would be heated seats and BSM...and you lose BSM anyway with an aftermarket bumper. Not worth 3K.

So, instead of my loaded DCLB TRD OR, I would get an ACLB TRD OR with zero options. And I would get it in quicksand rather than MGM.

The TSB for the tranny seams to be fixing My drivability issues. A $100 set of sumo springs fixes my issues with sag under load.
