I found this thread inspiring.
I really like my 2012 Tacoma but I was disappointed that a V8 was not a factory option.
Rather than sit around and complain about it, I decided to take matters into my own hands.
I haven't done a full write up or anything yet, but it's surprisingly easy and cheap to fit a V8 in these trucks. There's plenty of room in the engine bay.
The only thing I still have to figure out is some sort of modification to allow me to close the hood properly.

So why dont you just stay in the appropriate forum? So many people hating on the 3rd gen to justify keeping what they have.

 

I haven't seen that option yet but you could get a TRD Supercharger like this:

Seriously in person the grill is on par or smaller than any other "updated" pickup.
