2016 Tocoma , Adjust a Camper shell to fit

    2016 4 dr Toyota Tacoma
    I bought a used 2004 tacoma 5ft Snugtop camper shell to fit on my 2016 Toyota Tacoma. Every thing fits but the back lower cap (curved down shape plexi-glass) will not allow the back door to close. What can I use to seperate the fiberglass from the glass to re-engineer a curve fitting/landing for the back door?
