I'm sure many of you whom have searched for tow mirrors have noticed there are some seriously limited options for Tacoma's. Personally not a fan of the Dodge style, and forget the clip on ones :puke:

So that left a questionable option, a gamble you could say. Top Gear Auto Sport has a history of poor business. I took the chance, but at least used PayPal so there was a form of protection if in the off chance they didn't pull through.

Ordered on Thursday January 7th and they arrived Tuesday January 12th. So they sure held up their end of bargain.

    Let's get into them.

    The pros:

    Mirror adjustment works
    Mirror side indicator works
    Manual slide and fold
    Easy install

    The cons:

The outside indicator/signal does not work. Going to figure out what's wrong. Hoping the wiring just came pre-wired backwards.
Definitely made in China, as fit is 95%
$400 USD was a hefty price tag for a faulty product..

Will report back with an update when I get it figured out.

I'm planning on waiting until Clearview releases side view mirrors for our trucks. Every other option is either awful-looking or quality is suspect. Not a good choice for a good-looking and reliable vehicle.

I did some research and found out that Clearview's Hilux mirror (my avatar picture) is physically compatible with the Tacoma's mounting bolt pattern, but the trim and electronic hookups are unlikely to mate up correctly.

    Hey Ralf,

I just installed them on my 2018 Tacoma and had the same issue with the outside turn signal indicators. Did you figure out what the issue was yet??
