I've seen that others have purchased this rack and just wanted to get opinions on it in regards to wind noise, utility, etc. Thinking of hauling kayaks on it. I know there are some other threads with some info mixed in but was hoping to have a consolidated one without group buy, etc in it. Thanks!

It's either the Frontrunners or the Pinsus... this thread will help me decide.

Yeah that was my other consideration. However I have found several posts about people having a bit more wind noise than they would like with the Pinsus + some holes not lining up. So far I have only heard good things about the Frontrunners. Want to be sure though before I drop all the cash on the FrontRunner.

it boggles my mind that rack designers do not take wind noise into serious consideration... :facepalm:I don't want to jump to any quick assumption about Pinsus, but if that's true, it's really disappointing.

Well, just keep in mind that I'm not trying to trash anyone's products. I don't personally have the Pinsus and I'm sure it's a good rack. I'm just saying that out of the two, the Frontrunner seems to have the best reviews. At least in my research so far.
