And would unfortunately drive the price up for everyone. Sad, but the $ have to come from somewhere.

Not all of them would have to raised in price. Only the carb compliant ones. So if you live in a state with loose emission laws you dont have to worry. But alot of folks have strict emissions such as california. This emissions BS has me on edge if i want to buy or not. Would be nice to do things legit instead of bribing someone down the road in 6 years when its time for a smog and have that chance of being denied. Guess well see what the plans are on the 15th but doesnt look to bright for carb.

E-85 on a n/a engine is good for roughly 10-20 hp

So, I've actually already thought about that. And a plan is already under way for it.
I think it will make this kit unbeatable when compared to any other forced induction option that may come to market.

But I'm not posting what it is right now. But it's already been thought about and a solution is being created.

That's not true at all, on average you lose about 20% of your power from the flywheel to the wheels

Good deal. I'm very interested in the kit, however this has been a big concern of mine. Building significant boost while crawling could be incredibly dangerous, depending on the situation at hand.

Toyota does 1 of 2 things. Builds transmissions with horrible drive-train loss, or inflates their HP numbers on some cars.
    LC500 does "470" crank but only 380whp.

90HP lost through the transmission?? must be spinning bricks inside it.
    That's right about 20%.

But 20% drivetrain loss is not excusable for 2018. Mazda drivetrains have under 10% losses. They are a tiny company compared to Toyota.

I think turbo would definitely be the best way to go, but we gotta do what we gotta do. Has there been info released about when a Magnuson kit will be available?

Well, it's looking good though. At least we might have some options.

I guess quite a few states have adopted or are in the process of adopting caifornias strict emission laws. New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Maine, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, Vermont, New Mexico, Oregon, Washington, Maryland, Florida, and several others. I feel like carb cert is a must to reach out to a broader audience. If its expensive make the consumer pay?

Florida won't be adopting anything any time soon lol... come on now...

You really can't stick 2 turbos on an engine and expect it to pass emissions.

I agree. But the states make it so expensive just to stop people from doing it and getting their piece of the pie. Just like the approved handgun list. It's all politics.
