Folks with the base model / standard trim, I see they come with 16inch wheels but can anyone check the exact tire that toyota provides.
On the lowest / base trim.

@OVTune What about the handhelds? Last time you mentioned them you said they'd be ready by the end of January.

Just dropped in on this tread to ask the same question. I received an email from Mat on Dec 30th that they expected to have them all shipped out in Jan. Guess I'm not alone in wondering about this.

Maybe the last time you saw, but not the last time he mentioned them:

Take a minute and read through the thread instead of just posting at the end. You can search for just replies that @OVTune has made.

Is there an order cutoff for the new flash manager? As in, after order #XXXX you will get the latest and greatest?

I shall rephrase. Will order #3788 incorporate the new features Mat is rolling out per reply #38424? Or will that be impacted after another specific order number?

My deepest apologies for the lack of specificity.

Why does it matter? You'll have access to the new Flash Manager no matter what. So what if you get tuned prior to it launching? Being tuned is the priority/goal. You didn't buy the tune because of Flash Manager

Just to clarify, I haven’t received it yet and have not been through the process of flashing. I’m only asking out of curiosity because I placed my order a week or so ago and didn’t know if it was during the transition With the new software. It’s not a big deal to me either way. I just figured it would have been an easy answer from Mat.

I suppose it will be obvious when I receive it on Monday but I don’t know what I don’t know.

Got a question for all the OVTune users out there. Would one advise to wait till the “break-in” period on the engine is complete before flashing to the tune? Asking due to the fact I only have 150miles driven so far on the truck.

I hear you, I really do. I just think it's irrelevant. Like I said, you bought the tune to be tuned. The method shouldn't matter since it's already established that the current method works, and not even poorly.

As for a period of transition, I doubt it matters either. One moment it will be one way, the next will be the new way. :notsure: I get that you want to be informed. It just seems like it's unnecessary info-searching in this specific situation

Probably would be fine. But if it were my truck, I'd probably let at least 500 miles settle in on the stock tune before changing anything.

I don’t disagree. I just didn’t think it would be a complicated answer. But I am continually reminded what happens when you make assumptions.

I’m asking more in anticipation and excitement. As you stated, I bought it for the enhanced performance. Just curious about the new features really.

As it stands, I’ll just wait for my package and go from there. I’m sure most of my questions will be answered then.

Those that have purchased the full kit, does OVT send a tracking code when your order is shipped?
