Make sure defender and all anti-virus is off or create an exception......otherwise they tend to disappear.

Did you clear learning values with Techstream after you flashed a new tune? Makes a big difference.

Logged 400 miles today during round trip up to Buffalo WV.
Shift locking works excellent and is now *perfect.*

Mountain, up large grades still aren't amazing in D mode. However, I tested with shift-lock and even locked the truck cannot maintain 6th up a steep grade.

"Battery disconnect is recommended to clear all learn values but you have to leave it disconnected for a while.

Only do it if your truck experiences any issues after the flash."

I don't consider the Pedal feel not being snappy enough being an issue like if it displayed an idle problem. However, I'm bound to need to disconnect the battery for some reason or another so we'll see if things change. Thanks

Yes, it's like a manual without having to use the clutch basically. Instead of S-mode being a gear limiter, it's turns it into gear lock. So whatever gear you have it in with gear lock engaged, is the gear you stay in.

    Yes,

I was just curious since he was not able to be locked in 6th and make it up the steep grade. If he was able to be locked in 5 and make it, or if 4th was the necessary gear needed.

Yes 5th can do it @70mph through blueridge mountains.
(However, some trucks may do better or worse).

Anyways thank you everyone for being patient for this testing and update, lots of stuff coming down the pipeline.

Ok guys, hopefully yall can help me with a couple q's before I purchase this.
    1. Whats the general consensu on their MPGs, did they increase or decrease?
    2. Does this get rid of the obnoxious shifting?

Sounds like Toyota should have put those 4.3 gears in the Auto as well. Why the “F” didn’t they do that??? Makes me nuts I’m actually thinking about re-gearing to get the full power range out of the 6-speed AT in 265/70/17 tires.

    Dear Toyota,
Here’s an idea. Keep same gears across both the MT and AT. Always use the bigger gears too. Also be sure to get an account on TW

If mine can maintain fifth on a flat freeway with no wind I’ll be happy.

Waste of money. Win10 is free. It just asks you to pay for it and you click on "not right now" after install. FYI.
