Yup, and if you don't absolutely have to have it on your phone, Techstream is free.

 

Stop posting dongle pictures. Nobody wants to see that.

 

I would like to suggest making that "update" menu a button next to "download". Grey all the files until it's hit. Should cut down on some of the support questions.

 

Pretty sure you need the latest microsoft c++ redistributable installed.

The redistributable may fix it, but you can also try running the installer as administrator.

Why would I go to the stealership to watch diagnostics? I have techstream if I need to change settings or flash a TSB

I agree. Some folks are not as tech savvy as others may be, and I've come across scenarios where the Toyota "master" tech doesn't know/understand all the options that Techstream has. Most dealers around here don't put much quality work into warranty work. I get it, but "quality over quantity" is my motto...

When it all boils down, I appreciate Mat and the hard work that he and his team does for this platform! Wise man once told me, "You will remember the quality long after you forget the price."

 

You can still use it without a subscription if you plan on running fusion or something. Just cancel before the free trial is up.

Flashed to 1.05 gearlock in 62 seconds tonight. Roads are wet but but I like while moving being able to hit it and spin em a little!! Shifts smooth and very responsive! Just let off a little and shift is all it needs

Original 1.05 91 tune I pretty consistently got 17.6 average trip MPG on my drive home from work. (Mixed city/highway)

1.05 91 performance tune just got me 17.6 on that same trip home today. So far, I'm seeing about the same MPG as the original 1.05 which is awesome to keep MPG but have a much better tune with much better on demand power. I may try the new base 91 just to see if I gain MPGs. But ultimately the performance tune is what I wanted the truck to drive like. This tune actually makes me really enjoy driving the truck vs just putting up with it or getting mad with the original tune.

 

I'm getting about the same on 87 Performance as I did on legacy 1.05/87 about 20 mpg on my mostly, 90%, highway commutes. Only 2nd day and 140 miles so still settling in.

so can i not flash my truck because mine has the 04B01?? (i’m waiting for an email back from ovtune) but that one isn’t on the drop down when i tried to flash it tonight.

i tried to select one of the other ones like 04B03 but it wouldn’t download the file, i’m guessing because my truck has the 04B01 huh?

 

Yes,the tunes are specific to your ECU version.
