    Ok!
You must be hooked up to the truck with ignition on but truck off(thats 2 clicks of start button)
    Turn on tech stream
    Connect to vehichle
    System Select
You will see engine and transmission
Double click engine and look down you will see an icon that looks like the check engine light click it to clear DTCs
Go back double click transmission and do the same thing

Tech stream is a Toyota program/software usually used by techs at your dealership to gain access and certain features to your vehicle. It is a separate program not related to the tune.
Though with that said ‘some’ trucks have issues not clearing the learned values from previous tunes such as myself and using this fixed it for me.

Makes sense. I do the same sometimes and the difference in commuting mpgs matches what you stated earlier

Pretty sure you can only do the chime. Unless you use some tape or rip out the dash and unplug stuff

Thats unfortunate. Well at least that annoying chime is gone. Who knew tech stream was so useful

While we're on the topic, can any of the OBD apps (fusion, etc.) clear DTC values?

As far as i know Tech stream is the only way. It was believed unplugging the battery for 10minutes would reset them but another user pulled up an article from Toyota proving that is not true.

Why are you guys clearing via dtc? You're supposed to clear ecu/TCU in utilities>memory>reset. DTC diagnostic trouble codes which doesn't clear anything besides trouble codes.

^ this. You can do DTC reset in pcm flash / toy flash. Memory reset you gotta do with TS. This resets the learned trim values.

Yeah all the other tunes were okay for me. I changed my crank shaft sensor it had the round hashtag mark on it but the truck idles way smoother and no rough or bouncy idle. I don’t have the 5,10,15,20,25% throttle and no response anymore. Also with gear lock you can’t use ect around town it will not downshift at all unless you do it by s mode. Did you check your transmission fluid?

I made the mistake of clearing learned values 30 miles after I flashed 91 gearlock and it really went bad after that. Truck completely changed had no power and no response at all. Not doing that again.
I reflashed and it went back to 91 craziness

The 1.05 performance tip in doesn’t seem to be “dangerous” it’s more of a nuisance

Something is not right here. If you did in fact clear learned values, reflashing the tune will not bring it back.
