    Geez. That's one helluva setup.

You should be really happy when done.

I switched back to this from FOB due to the mid-range lethargy. It's pretty decent for a daily driver wanting to run cheap gas. The 2.0 updates including the AICS mods should definitely help as well.

I can only hope that the BFO test magic carries over to whatever we get for FO 2.0

I decided recently to run on 91B over 87P. I’m loving it. The shifts are much better. The trans wants to hold the gears much more.
With 87B The truck would quickly shift from 3/4 or 4/5 and then want to immediately downshift again. It was pretty annoying. I like the tip in for the B cause I do stop an go traffic in the afternoon and I hated the way the truck would lurch forward when I barely touched the gas.
Anyways. I didn’t want to go with 91 cause I drive so much and while most say “well why I have 40k truck then” I do try to save where I can. And fuel is the number 1 expense. But. 91B is, a very solid tune.

Yeah, I'm hoping FO + AICS mods = hotness. Automatic Octane compensation is pretty sweet too.

Very interesting. That will put the turbo in a crazy spot.

Agreed, but it's nothing new to put turbos way downstream STS has been doing it for over a decade.

Huh, maybe I misread, but I thought the turbo had it's own deal? Also, i don't think a post-cat turbo would be great?

    ***Edit***
My fingers were slow, looks like everyone jumped on you for that one. Just trying to make sure we all get accurate info!

Mis-read and wasn't following other threads. Disregard.

I agree, having a cat upstream from the turbo is not a good idea, I would certainly stay catless.

@TS7xTaco is correct. On the OP of the FI thread, Mat updated it to note that while it was originally stated that dump tubes wouldn't fit with the turbos, they now can

It's literally the first post on the first page of the turbo thread.

Yeah. There was that BRZ turbo kit that put it under the rear bumper, but . . . :D

Sorry, don't follow the FI thread. From the way it is described there, I would also assume he is talking about a "stock" setup there. In that case I would have to agree. Catless or catted Ovtune would probably work with the turbo setup. Good to know. It just seems to conflict with the post I quoted.

I think the cat was ahead of the turbo on our saab? I could be wrong there though. It had been a while.

I need to look at the wife's Forester for shits and giggles.

I mean it would technically *work* either way.
