So am I the only person that has received the handheld and awaiting instructions as to how to use it?

The handhelds aren’t working for 2018/2019 as of yet. The 16/17 should work fine. Go here and get the flash manager software.

    https://support.openflashtablet.com/support/home
Install it, plug in your handheld & let everything update. It should be able to read your 16/17 ECU. Once it reads, it will store a copy of stock software onto the device. If my understanding is correct you should be able to flash with the write button. You ahold have a list of tunes already stored in the device. If you don’t have a tune or the tune you want isn’t already on it you will need to send an email to Mat and ask for the correct files to load onto it.

Take all this with a grain of salt as I am assuming a lot.

    Well,

Drove both the lighter tip-in and aggressive tip-in tunes in the 4.88 gearing (91-octane both) for several hundred miles, and I’m still sold on the aggressive tip-in version. I even 4-wheeled some narrow trails up in some slippery slushy snow and was fine (handled fantastic - that’s what good tires are for). I even had a great chat with a guy who had a nice FJ. Won’t be flashing anything else until the final 2.0. However, wished the same tune in 87 octane was available because up at altitude the 87 runs fine

Where did you hear this regarding it not working for 18/19? I ask because Matt asked me what year my truck was, I told him 18 and he said “great, I’ll get yours in the mail today”.
I got mine today but haven’t had a chance to look at it until now.

How can you tell what they did or did not fix by that screen?

So I downloaded Flash Manager, let it update, then connected the handheld to my truck but it wouldn't read the ECU when I clicked "Read" and "tune" was grayed out.

Waiting on Mat to provide us some instructions. @OVTune

Hey under O4B04 Dongle PCM Stock exhaust 87 tune at the end it has +4.88. It looks the same as the Stock exhaust 4.88 tune version . I was about to try the 87 tune out until I saw that at the end of the file. Anyone running that on stock gears with any problems? Is this correct Mat?

Read back 2 or 3 pages. You can change the file name.

“This error also isn't affecting all of them, seems to be an issue only with 2018 and 19 ECUs at the moment, engineers have all the files and are working on that update to correct it asap” from an email with Mat and there are mentions of it a few pages back.
