The very first OLE with regular ECT enabled has been the best 2.0 beta so far imo...

If final 2.0 is even a slight improvement over that, I would be happy:D

OLE was awesome except mine had a weird hesitation/slight stumbling misfire when driving about 45-50 mph on a slight incline than slowly pushing down on the skinny pedal to almost WOT. One of the guys said it was the VVT. 1.05.1 87 doesn't have that hesitation for me. 91 seems pretty smooth too. Here's hoping the finally 2.0 OLE will be hesitation free (on my truck since they all seem to behave differently)

OLE means that there isn't a specific Octane tune. It automatically (magically) knows what octane of fuel your using and adjusts accordingly.

Sorry if this has been answered already- has the 2018 update for the Handheld been released yet? I have a ticket open with opentune but haven't heard back yet.

    Thanks.

Based on my mailbox, nope. I’m assuming I’ll get the handheld when the update is released. :)

Did just the 87perf 1.05 today... tip-in is a little touchy... kinda like the charger...BUT, friggin night and day.
Stoked. Gonna run the 91perf tune until the 2.0 is out.
Trip from WMass, to Logan and back, highway, heavy traffic, some in Back Bay of Boston... worth every penny.
Bare minimum how the truck should've come from the factory

Currently in the truck tuning it to the 2.0 beta 19800 build 91. Ecu is 31 auto. Now I have blind spot monitoring fault, backup cam fault and tons of others.

Is it actually possible to flash the incorrect tune to your ecu? My original file 1.05 that I first installed when I bought the tune months ago says 04B30. And it flashed fine and I was running it like that until I went to the 19770 build 2.0. Now when I run "identify" it says 04B31. So that's the tune I downloaded and flashed for the 19800 build.

And I think my 19770 build file was ALSO 04b31..... so the question is, can you flash a 04b30 with a 04b31and now it will identify as a 31? Did I just fuck it all up forever?

Could that be why I have that weird fuel cut issue at WOT in 3rd gear? It's been the wrong tune the whole time? I remember someone saying you CANT flash the wrong one..... but are we definitively sure about that? Has anyone tried?

Any chance your dealer did a TSB update that you didn’t know about?

It's never been to the dealer since I bought it.

You have a (1) at the end of the tune file name you'll have to delete that out of the tune file as you can't flash it with the file name altered like that.

That's not the file name. I was just typing the different catagories of the specific tune I used so you would know which one I was refering too. To alleviate any possible "which version" questions lol.

Look at your screenshot at the end of the tune file name right before the .p5f. The file goes shift+Build+19800 (1).p5f you can't have the (1) in there as that's why it's failing to write the file.

that’s just the file name 99% sure it doesn’t care. The (1) is because it got downloaded a second time in the same location.

You shouldn’t be able to flash a file that doesn’t match your ecu but I believe someone was able to do it one time that I know of.
