Yes, thankfully. It means that it's 98% the same as 04B13.

I'm logging into TIS to see what it's all about.

Let’s hope the 2% difference isn’t 98% or the work...

Maybe they ought to send you a thank you card for making their trucks run better...

@OVTune Do I need, or should I have a battery minder hooked up to the truck when flashing the ECU with the OV Flash Kit?

I was showing a Charging System warning light when I was hooked up to obtain my System ID. Engine off, key in the ON pos.

    No. That’s normal.

If you turn the truck to “on” it’ll display that message

Thanks, @Shellshock I appreciate the reply. I wasn't sure if that was normal or not. I just wanted to see if I needed to pick one up prior to installing the Tune when it's available and I get my license. I'm trying to avoid any roadblocks and slowdowns, and unnecessary emails to Zendesk etc.

food for thought, in regards to the battery warning, when you are running flash manager, it tells you your current voltage during flashing. if below 12.2 or so, you may want to hook to a battery tender, charger during flashing. also with how heavily burdened the electrical system is with draws, it is a good idea every couple months to place on a tender/charger to top the battery up. if you depend only on the alternator, you might run into dead battery issues. i charge all our batteries to full every 6-8 weeks or so. just part of the maintenance routine. Thanks @skidooboy I appreciate this info. I this just a Tacoma thing? I've never done that with previous vehicles, never had any issues, but then I always ran a lot of miles, so I most likely had good charge. I guess... :notsure: I was curious originally because I didn't want the truck to die mid flash or something and be F*&%$d later, probably a very bad thing to have happen.

The OEM batteries have been known to die in 1-2 years.

most newer cars have communication systems gps, etc... think onstar, maintenance intervals, talking to the mfgr to give the end user info etc... those communications take battery power. my last 2 gm trucks (2009 sierra 1500 5.3l, and 2017 gmc sierra 2500 L5P duramax) both have/had voltage issues, after sitting no use for extended periods. i had the battery replaced in the 2009, and have the dual battery set up on the duramax... BUT, my full size trucks are garage queens, only coming out for trailering. so, i am an extreme case. i have noted even daily driving our subaru crosstrek, and the tacoma, it takes anywhere from 12-24 hours to fully charge their batteries as well. so, i think there is something going on with the drain, communications systems as i do not have any aftermarket items on those autos, to drain them. your results may vary, i throw my units on the charger periodically for peace of mind. TSB(s) Found.

So this TSB is to update the ECU to stop the damn P2119 throttle limp modes.

This is the same limp mode DTC and issues people would see randomly, and sometimes with our tunes.
I recall someone at the dealership mentioning about bad throttlebodies, etc.
    It's a huge problem on 2019 trucks.

@OVTune is this something that you would have to account for in the 2.0 release?

Only for 16-17 MT? Wasn’t expecting that. I assume there would be more coming out at some point if they haven’t already.

I have a feeling there will be more.
This is a known problem on 2019 ATs. With and without tune.

    I also see new calibrations:
    04B25
    04A81
    etc

I would say something about that but if I do I might come back to a dead battery in my truck :anonymous:

I wonder if that has something to do with the 19s and the tugging sensation?

I want to note that the tugging sensation was completely resolved with 2.0 on my 19 MT

Cruising 6th on the interstate is butter now

Did you get the CUWs with that? How much does that mess up the 2.0 tunes and life itself?

This problem was scary as all hell! I almost got rear ended by a semi truck on the highway because of it.
