On Mat's server. As implied by @RushT they're not out yet

Maybe I missed something. To me, that reads as though a performance file is out.

I think @RushT was referring to the "THX" modified throttle file. THX and non-THX versions have been released. But you're right in that the THX file is not what has historically been referred to as the Performance version.

I doubt he was referring to THX, since that is only a throttle modification and Mat has stated that performance map variants are on the way

You could be right... "2.0 final without gearlock and performance modes is already out."
It may boil down to a difference in interpretation of what he said... "and vs. or".

I think it's a moot point really, because @OVTune has stated that the current 2.0 final maps for AT are base maps, and that performance variants and maps with gear-lock and map switching are yet to be released

Another question is if I just want to use the base maps do I need the tune pak and software/cable combo? Seems excessive since I just want to tune and go.

I think OV needs to work on simplifying the website so you know what you need. Also bummed they moved to only a PC program which says does not run on Mac VM, I only own macs and they should have a handheld programmer.

Yes, you need all of the above (vF, tune pack, cable) to do it yourself

You can use boot camp on a Mac. That’s what myself and others have done.

If you don’t want to buy the full kit, you can work a deal with someone that already owns vF and has the files for your ECU.

Is the trans programming using stock tables with adaptive cruise control still and non-adaptive running OVTune or did that get changed?

    How fast are you driving?

typically once we go over that magic 80-90 km/h, or 50-55 mph range, gas mileage in any vehicle starts to take a hit, highway or not. I had an Acura Integra that got wicked great gas mileage unless I had my foot in it all over town or boogying down the highway at 140 km/h (85 mph).

I do 80-85 pretty Much everywhere. 55 on a road trip seems like torture.

65 mph with 4.88’s nets me the best mpg

I agree. I can't do it either. I once did Toronto to Montreal in under 4 hours! Hate it when I'm stuck behind the slopokes in the passing lane, even when they think they are passing, and doing it a grandma pace... move the f'k over!
