So instead of down shifting, it’s bumping up speed by unlocking the converter?

it looks like you have gained total control of lockup through throttle use. is that right? looks super responsive.

So vehicle speed must report in km's, either that or @OVTune is fibbing a little on his casual drive.

You can maintain speed, accelerate, hold speed by having full throttle and torque + direct lock in 6th gear so that everything the engine makes goes straight to the gear.

it only unlocks when you let off the throttle

    its kph lol

when it locks and you're on throttle in 6th you can physically feel the torque when you gas it. I was easily cruising at 13-1400 RPM

This is great to hear! Sounds like this could help on the MPGs as well if the RPMs are staying low... im heading to arkansas next weekend and will definitely be able to share my mpg results

Sorry, haven't started the install process with my dongle so am unfamiliar with complete process; still in box. But would entertain a moderate swap charge if install is moderately easier to do with a new dongle.

I got tired of being on the late train and also tired of reading how good my truck should perform! Just pulled the trigger and pre ordered my tune.

@OVTune earlier you promised showing us how ECT would look compared to non-ECT. Can you detail what we can expect with ECT on?

In regards to towing, what are your plans to test? Will the tuning for ECT be geared toward towing since that is one of ECT’s primary purposes for the truck?
