Why do people keep saying that it isnt clear that Mat has not yet released the AT version of 1.05 when he has been VERY clear about that? he has repeatedly, very specifically, stated which ECU models (and dongle owners vs dongle-less) are getting the tune first, AND stated in clear terms why the other ECU models do not have 1.05 yet lmfao come on guys, it's not like he's asking you to use very much brain power to simply READ wtf he says, Jesus Christ lol idiots...

Here is my personal recollection without going back and rereading.
First, my interpretation of Matt's comments was that it was not recommended to TSB yourself, (could brick it yourself, some dealers weren't doing it, etc). Told 1.05 would contain the data for it (dont know what ECU rev it was going to show).

Then 1.04r came out for only TSB updated ECUs, so that people who got TSB could still tune, and not feel $700 poorer with nothing to show for it.

Then 1.05 testing started in the forum, and requirement for testing was TSB installed, because 1.05 was developed on the TSB equipped mule, and make it simpler number of versions I assume. Questions asked on forum if the non TSB will be tested thoroughly.

And we get to now, where basically we are told that it is the default to get TSB, and only TSB equipped tune is available at this moment (for MT).

Anybody disagree? Let me know if I misrepresented it.

This is correct,

however one thing - when 1.05 is released for everyone you do NOT need to have the TSB (unless you're 04B01 ecu).. but if your truck is experiencing issues that is in the TSB, or your dealer has mentioned it, or you want to get the TSB, there is no reason not to.

You do not have to get it, but if you want to get it I recommend doing so.

So I was running 1.04 for 6-7k miles. Tried to TSB this morning. Didn’t work. Went back to stock.

Look at the MPGs. Same exact route to work. Guess which one is stock and which one is 1.04?

Cruise set at 64. Today’s temp is about 8°F cooler.

I don't use ECT on B04 like I did on B03. No idea how bad B02 is.
