Note, I've temporarily disabled the download link. A few trucks are having a small idle issue (not major, looking into this right now), to see what the cause is. If your idle RPM moves at all in D mode please send me a message on zendesk.

I have not seen any idle fluctuation on my test truck so I want to get this squared away asap.

 

My situation is rather unique -- I bought a used dongle a few weeks ago, but I drive a 2019 (04B30) that will only work with the new 1.05 tunes. As Mat requested, I dumped my vehicle's bin files 10 days back and sent them via email so that he could use them to work on the 2019 version of 1.05. I also paid the invoice for the license. However, I never received the license/reg info, and my later emails went unanswered; so, I honestly have no idea how/when I'm supposed to get the license+tune.

@OVTune - Just for clarification, are you you going to directly email me the 04B30-compatible version along with my personal license/reg? Is that a correct understanding of my specific situation?

Can someone clarify for me?
A. Are the orange units dongle or hand-held?
B. Are .bin files only for dongle units and .p5f files for hand-held units?

The files that Mat released last night are all .bin files, but the flash program is looking for .p5f files, is there a conversion step somewhere that I missed?

If your software has a SYSTEM ID, then the files are not for you. SYSTEM ID based files are coming.

Switching to 91 now.

 

Go to first page and follow instructions for the dongle setup you need to install all the drivers provided so your pc can recognize the dongle which is your license and since it's used it should already be registered so pretty much just plug and play for you once all drivers have been installed and pcm flash is opened up.

 

The orange thing is the tactrix obd2 port thing. The dongle is purple for some, black for others. It was available to the earliest adopters iirc.

 

Already handled all of the drivers and software installs two weeks ago when I first dumped the stock tune files for Mat; however, the dongle does require a completely new license/reg due to the fact that dongles are tied to specific VIN numbers. As a result, dongle licenses do NOT transfer to another person if the dongle itself changes hands (unless an entire truck changes hands along with it, of course). I had to pay Mat for a brand new tune license in addition to the money paid in the private purchase of the used dongle.

Mat was kind enough to respond above and told me that all of my stuff will be handled directly via email as soon as he can get to it, not through the flash manager or public downloads. Thank you for the info, though, I do still appreciate the assistance!
