No idle issues for me on 87 or 91

 

Interesting, I didn't know the dongles where tied to the vin of the truck in any way, as mine came registered from mat beforehand so all I had to do was install drivers and flash once my tune files were sent to me.

 

Just sent you an email. Would have never noticed it if not for your post. Seems extremely minor in the grand scheme of things.

 

So I don't have dongle or a handheld?

 

2019 owners, I just found out that there are already multiple ID's for our stock ECU software, so please be aware of that if/when you install OVtune files in the future.

Known IDs for 2019 Auto Transmisions: 04B30 and 04B31

I think Mat used my 04B30 files to build his initial 2019 version for release later this weekend, so someone who has 04B31 on their truck may need to send him their stock files in the future to build a version of 1.05 for that ID.

I don't fully understand how the various versions work, though, so please refer to Mat for proper guidance on this matter in the future.

Just flashed 1.05 / 91, getting my new wheels and tires mounted later today, I have the day off, and I’m sipping a cup of coffee while I’m reading this thread......today’s a good day!!!

Going to put some miles on this tune as soon as I finish my coffee....

Are the files no longer available on Mega for everyone else?

 

I beleive he took it down to fix idle fluctuations.

Some of the guys are reporting minor idle issues and Mat has it locked down until he sorts it out.

 

wow, Matt posted that he took them down in the time that I grabbed my laptop to flash the TSB so I just missed Matt's message about taking it down.

Yep sorry guys but I want 1.05 to go a smooth as possible so any little thing I want to review and adjust if necessary.

 

Great tune, feels primitive like the 2nd gen(it will never be the same, but Its much closer)I like the peppiness of the first gear. I like the predictable nature of the upshifts and downshifts.
I haven’t noticed any idle fluctuations. Lastly, I hope it doesn’t learn and become a dog again.

 

How do you do that? Maybe a quick doc?
