Woah. I just got 20.5 trip mpg on my commute home this afternoon. City/Hi-way with some stop/go rush hour traffic on 87 Performance.

Seriously, give it and you some time. I averaged 14 on my normal commute where I would typically get 19. I was happy with the skinny pedal playing with the new found power above 3k.

Its just so much easier to over gas it. Like it just jumps when you touch the gas. I guess thats mostly it, I just needa adjust my driving habits.

I guess Ill do so...although with those mpgs Itll be 2 tanks before I hit the 300 miles lol.

You have a heavy foot lol. I like it holding speed by barely touching it and when I want the juice for passing I can get it

Having flashing trouble for the first time. I open up pcm flash through FM like I normally would. Select the file, and click write. It tries to flash, then says flash unsuccessful after about 2 sec. Tried about 20 times already. I kind of remember @SpeySquatch having a similar issue. I'm a dongle guy on 04B04 and have been flashing tunes for over a year, never had any problems. Was wondering if anyone could shed any light on this before I open up a ticket.

Received it today, and just flashed. Writing this as I idle actually

Funny, bought my truck in December 2016 as a 2017 model. My ecu is 04B02. I couldn’t find the ecu till I went under 2016 year model. Shitty deals the performance tune for it isn’t out yet. I was wondering why it couldn’t download the file till I realized Mat said the performance one isn’t out yet haha. Oh well. I’ll see how the base goes and just wait

I had gotten used to the <2K rpm driving with the TSB, this is a little more difficult.

Are you still using the original version of pcm flash? You need to be using the new one

Flash the TSB and then you’ll be on 04b04 and not have to wait. Problem solved. Bunch of people have done it lately.

As long as you downloaded the dongle drivers from the new FM you shouldn’t run into issues

May also try Clear DTC in the flashing tool

Thanks guys. I reset the dtc and now everything is fine. Was weird because I tried that earlier and it wasn't working. Anyway, all is good now, just loaded the 91 performance. Tried the 87 performance and it was nice for a week. Put 500 miles on that. Tip in may be a bit much so I'm looking forward to the middle ground version.

You don't need to return to stock. What registry are you referring to?

I’ll edit the post. I misunderstood some stuff. Registry only for the computer being used. But I’m not changing so that question is completely irrelevant, sorry
