The search function works great. In fact, it doesn’t even require a minimum number of characters. Combined with the ability to only return results from specific users makes this function extremely powerful.

Most people are just lazy

As someone trying to get information, a FAQ or slimmed thread or etc would be really valuable.

 

So, I was about to start downloading the software on my laptop and noticed that both of my USB ports are the blue 3.0’s. Does this mean that I can’t use my laptop? Anyone else run into this?

 

Get usb splitters that go from 3.0 to 2.0

 

There was a forum that I was on that would not allow a search with less than four characters. It sounded sort of meaningless, but more than half of the searches I tried were either three letters or a wildcard based on three letters. It looks like they finally changed that after over a decade of frustration.

Most USB 3.0 ports are backward compatible with 2.0: it's part of the 3.0 specification, but will run at the lower speed. Just ensure you have the USB Type A connector.

 

Oh good to know, I only have three 3.0 usb ports. So I would need a spliter as well.

USB 3.0 will not work at all? Don't they have some backwards compatibility to 2.0 ?
