    Make sure that you
    1. Clicked RESUME session not starting a new one
    2. That you are using the same pc you started the process on

If you are still having trouble, email me if you have not.

For everyone reading, take it one step at a time.

Before even beginning any process, plugging the dongle in, doing anything, download and Insta'l everything on the beginning pages which have all the download links.

    Ok guys-
    I’m at the last step.
I have sent Mat my challenge file, received response, resumed session, sent Mat the key and dongle serial - got my activation key - which was accepted.

Went to truck, turned truck on (2 clicks of start button), disabled excess loads, plugged in dongle and purple key-
Opened pcmflash, selected the Toyota drop down in the instructions:

    Hit Identification button:
    Failure.

    Argh.

    Any suggestions?

In pcmflash window, at very top...what interface is chosen? Should read tactrix ... openport... something to that effect.

Yes- that’s what I have selected. I had to purposefully select it because I also have a bootleg techstream

    Figured it out.
    Wrong Template selected-
ECU and Gearbox files read and delivered to Mat.

Cut me some slack, this shit is way harder when it’s 9 degrees out.
My beer froze while flash reading...

Dang what’s that white stuff in the background? Lol! I’m excited to get to where you are in the process. It’s been tuff for me, but I think I have my head wrapped around it. So far, I’ve got the first email out to Mat. I just sent it last night

Been experiencing hesitation around 3500 RPMs, been that way every with every file. Is that the just the characteristic of the Atkins style motor?

Also, when the motor downshifts to go up a hill, it will then drop a few hundred RPM after a few moments which will than cause me to have to down shift again.

Still running 1.02 C - A Shift on my 2016 OT TRD AT AC. Still very happy with the HUGE improvement over OEM. I expect to be even happier when the next iteration of the tune is released.

I FINALLY pulled the trigger on this, been watching since the beginning. Anyway, I sort of lost track of the 87 map, is anyone running that? What are thoughts or is it not worth it to do anything less than the 91?

I’ve been running the 87 map. No complaints here. Noticeable difference over stock.

most of the work I have been doing so far on AT 1.03 has been on 87.
R&D trucks MPG absolutely sucks and this is is a big goal to fix on the next update.
several parts of this next update is specifically related to highway driving.

The fuel Economy in my auto was terribly unpredictable. I had a couple tanks of gas average 12-14 mpg in a factory TRD OR on the highway at 70 mph. I also had some that were around 25. I resorted to carrying an extra 10 gallons of fuel basically everywhere just in case because you never knew what you were gonna get. It was better after the TSB but that’s not saying much. In the end I traded it after 50k miles for the manual I’ve got now.

I hope the MPG definitely gets better. Although my Taco is fairly new, just hit 1K miles today. I've filled up about 4 times now and MPG sucks balls. Constantly 15-16 combined miles.
