    Hi Everyone,
The last few mornings its been in the teens or lower here in Idaho and I've noticed my truck feeling like the emergency brake is on when I first pull out of the driveway. It only occurs for the first 1/4 mile or so then it seems to go away and doesn't happen when I leave work in the evening. I suspect its due to the cold weather or some snow build up from some mountain roads I hit last weekend. Has anyone else experienced this?

Are you using the hand brake while leaving it over night? Bunch of folks have posted about their rear drums freezing from it. Maybe yours is close to freezing up. I have not had that issue down here.

I am using the hand brake, and that is exactly what I suspected was happening. I'll park without using it tonight and see if it happens again in the morning. Thanks! Also I love the color of your TRD, I wish I could have found one that color.

    A. Do you park your Taco outside? B. Have you considered a block heater?

Thanks guys, should have noted i always warm up for 5-10 minutes before I leave. I parked without the hand brake on last night and it seemed to fix the problem. I do park outside, a block heater wouldn't hurt in this weather...
