Yes. When you show a service manager a problem your having and he denies it right to your face, it's probably gonna piss you off.

Ontario about 30 minutes from Detroit Michigan. 3 flakes and they salt the roads. Add quality Dodge sheet metal and you have a nice rust ring in the driveway.

I am keeping the truck stock for now. Owned it just over 30 days and so far I ordered stereo knobs off of a guy in the site. Hope I see them soon.

As far as the service MGR being a knob take it elsewhere. Then go back and speak to the owner / GM of your dealership and ask if he wants to lose all of your business and let others know why you left them.

That's shitty. I'm in lemoore, california. No salt and rarely rains more than a few months out of the year. They opened up the case with Toyota once I strapped a go pro onto my dash to record the guage cluster doing its weird tic toc shit. I'm gonna try and get a copy of the message they sent them and make sure they attached the video I gave them. The needle movement isn't a huge deal, just a nuisance, but when he said he didn't see it I made it my life's work to record it.

OP most of the problems you listed are fairly common complaints here on this forum. You have to understand there are a lot of hypersensitive and overly-defensive Toyota lovers on this board so when you list problems and vent your frustrations with the product, you're going to be met with folks who will downplay your issues or dismiss them all together. I feel your pain as almost every issue you've listed I've also experienced and then some. I've already had my rear differential replaced and one of my main gripes is how this transmission and motor perform. The most common complaint here is probably regarding the transmission and motor, lacking low end torque, dead gas pedal/shift hanging and shift slipping or flaring. Many here share your frustrations and will just not post for fear of being flamed. Just know that you're in good company and disregard the dismissive fanboys. I suggest playing around with the search function, you'll find some TSBs and member experiences on getting some of these problems addressed. If you have specific questions about getting the dealer involved to diagnose and resolve the problems, I'm happy to try to elaborate for you as I'm sure some of the other more helpful members will too. In the end though, understand that Toyota seems to be pretty slow to address a lot of these issues. The dealers also can be very difficult to deal with...the key with them is getting to a point where you can prove and replicate the issue so that they can witness it for themselves. In the long term you may decide you want to dump the truck (I don't blame you as I'm itching to myself) you may want to look into Silverado or a Ford. Some of us are holding out to see what the new Ranger will look like in 2019 when it is released. I plan to sit on my truck for awhile to try and get a little more equity in it before I offload it; you may decide to do the same.

    Hang in there and welcome.

Looking around this website at issues is like looking at Web MD. You go in looking for your symptoms for a cold and come out thinking you have cancer and 3 days to live. I'm pretty confident I'll be able to get the transmission fluid checked here pretty soon. I was told there's no way of checking it. Wrong. There is a way and I'm gonna press for them to do it or I'm calling corporate. As for the differential, what happened with it? Low on fluid? My truck has a pretty nice thunk when shifting from second to first when it's still cold.

Differential was making a howling noise. They isolated the noise to the rear diff with a stethoscope, putting it on a lift. Root cause was never disclosed to me. They replaced it with an entire carrier assembly and the replacement started howling not 500 miles later, not as loud as the first but still loud enough to where I knew what it was. At that point the regional engineer FTS from Denver flew out to look at my truck and take a ride-along with me. He explained that it was a widespread issue with these trucks and they'd be working on a TSB to come in the next few months.

I get the harsh downshift as well. Some have characterized it as Axle Wrap and driveline slop, others have said it could be Ubolts not torqued to spec, so I had mine checked and they were, but mine still does it.

I think I'm just gonna take my truck over to a friend's house who has one also and go through both of the trucks to see what's wrong with them he use to be a mechanic so he will have a better eye for problems than I will. Noticed today my hood is separating from the brackets underneath... that's great. His truck was making a whistling noise from the door, turns out there was about a 1/16th of an inch gap between the seal and the cab. Toyota refused to do anything, so he stuffed some small rubber hose behind the seal to fix it.

Toyota refused to do anything or the dealer refused? There is a difference. If you aren't getting the support you feel you deserve from the dealer i recommend trying another dealer in your area if possible or Elevate this to corporate.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. I have had my tremor for over a year and it's been awesome to date. Unfortunately there can be a lemon in every batch. It may be you have one. Stay in the Dealers face, 'politely though', and you will get it fixed right.
Stay away from Dodge! If you have to sell buy an F-150. Best Truck on the road in its Class. Wish you the best.

If memory serves me, Ford made a Tremor, think it was a special edition F150
