2016 TRD Off-Road

14's and 15's got shafted.... no auto dimming, no compas no outside temp mirror.

 

That is a normal color, Toyota hasn't used it in a while on their trucks.

 

Maybe I missed this, but any mention as to exterior dimensions? Did the new taco get bigger? I hope not....

 

Front grew 3in forward and rear 1in. Width and track stayed the same.

If you can actually sit in it to compare room that'd be great to. Obviously if they have a TRD Sport etc and anything else other then what we have seen already that would be fantastic. If there's anyone there in the know ask questions such as will one be able to get sunroof without buying a Limited ... Shit like that...

 

Mod front bumper guys will have fun. Looks nice, but I have likes between all the mod years. Should have went with an aluminum frame for best mpg

 

My '05 barely fits in my garage. I wonder if Toyota is thinking of how many people will actually try to fit these new trucks in their garage.

 

I wish this is what we were given.

 

Not al of us Old Farts like the chrome.....One of the best things they did on the TRD Pro Tundra was color match the fugly front chrome grill!

 

Seriously. If they had just built that with all the structural, drivetrain, and interior upgrades, I would be fine with it. Seeing the old one reiterates how hideous the new one looks.

I really can't believe they didn't conduct focus groups on the new design. I would think almost any group would have told them it was a catastrophe.

 

I really like the interior and they did bring some nice gizmos (though the price will reflect that, ouch). But as others have said the exterior styling is horrendous. And yes vehicles grow on people but its ugly and every non tacoma lover I've showed it too has said the same thing, they all grimmis at it.

Does look like the off road gets goodyear wranglers for tires.

 

Not so sure about the push button start. I bet a lot of vehicles these days have em, but it seems like its something that could possibly fail and leave you stranded. just sayin. Looks like the glove box locks too. Fugly front grill IMO.

 

interior and sand color are awesome..everuthing else....crap

 

From watching this video smart key is available for other models besides just the limited! Needs a complete BHLM and chrome grille blacked out.

Looks like the offroad might include back up sensors too.



Comparing this to the Limited's interior I don't see a bed light switch to the left of the steering wheel by the power inverter switch
