Once again that spec sheet isnt my truck. I got a DCSB TRD Offroad MT with the premium and technology package in Barcelona Red. Im still working on preordering the other grille that isnt chrome.

No, that was a lot of speculation and wishful thinking on future Gen 3 buyers. Is the 30 hp shortfall a make or brake attribute for people? To me 270 hp, while not mind blowing is sufficient, but I wish there was more torque than the 261, oh well. I'm sure the MPGs will be there.

aires 3D mats, scan gauge II, rear differential breather relocation, and bakflip G2 bed cover.
What about those 1960's air conditioning vents.

This is from another Toyota page...
    Smart Stop Technology [2]
Smart Stop Technology [2] is designed to reduce engine power when the brake is firmly applied helping to bring the vehicle to a stop, even if the accelerator pedal is firmly depressed.

OP in your first post you said you "had to pay 1000 dollars to order it."

are you sure you gave a deposit and didn't pay them 1000 dollars to order it for you?

Honestly they are already killing it against the GM twins. Why? QDR, that's why most Tacoma's are sold, that and they are purty. The Tacoma doesn't have the highest resale vehicle because of power train numbers, but yes I do hope the torque numbers are solid but still numbers aren't everything. With the new transmission and lighter gross weight the performance should be satisfying for consumers. All they have to do is be "solid", not be the most in power train numbers, not in the mid size market any ways. It'll be interesting however when GM releases the baby Duramax as you can expect torque, mpg, and resale value increase in those bad boys, along with price however.
