Bad boy sprung a hole and looking to replace it but can't find the part number. Any help out there?

Passenger side, front. Hard metal line in engine bay, not the hose.

Your best bet is to call the dealer. Here's the type of diagram you'd need (this is for my 05). I tried looking for a third gen but the site I use doesn't have the files.

4732704060 is the passenger rear axle hard line number. Do you need front or rear?

Which line sprung the hole? I'm in the process of replacing my brake lines, so I might be able to help out.

Give me a minute, and I'll post some pictures.

He's a third gen so likely different. If it was the small one that goes into the caliper it may be the same, but I doubt that one.

According to the diagram I posted above, that line goes all the way from the master cylinder to the flexible hose at the caliper.

Finally got a dealer who noted it is 47313-04260 but I have no way of verifying this. Search is calling it a brake tube (not sure if proper term, not familiar with brake builds)

On the plus side, it's not an expensive part. Looking at the second gen equivalent, it's only about $20. It baffles me that I can find these part numbers, yet multiple different people who work at toyota and have these diagrams can't.

It is. Every one I'm looking at is calling it "Brake tube number X". That one for a second gen is brake tube number 3

I had to order this part of the hard line, which looks like it's the next price down from what you have a hole in.

    20190727_093355.jpg

I had to order part #47316-04151,

But this is for a 2nd gen, on the driver's side. I don't know how much that helps in reading the diagrams for the 3rd gen.

And the brake line I'm looking at are also "47313-04190" and "47313-04200" so it makes sense that it'd be "260" if they're just going in sequence as the trucks get newer

It's close. Mine is other side and a bit above on the line arrowed out.

@EatSleepTacos - that's kinda what I'm seeing too. I'm also hearing weird stories from the mechanic that the part got discontinued....which sounds fishy af

That's weird. Are you planning on replacing the line yourself? If not, you could just have Toyota do it. That way it's their problem to get the right brake line, and will save you from potentially ordering the wrong part multiple times.

edit: One time I called my local dealer and gave them a part number. They ordered it. It was the wrong thing (my fault) but when I went to pick it up, I just didn't pay for it and they helped me find the right part number. Could do that.

That was the original plan, cause it's still warrantied. However, they're claiming the suspension voids it and threw me a quote of $1,300 which sounds like a load of bull

Yeah that's freaking absurd. I'd go with my method of just having them order you the part. I'd go in person to ensure you're both looking at the same thing.

Or just try a different dealer.

yea, I thought maybe if you had the part number for the line below what you need, you may be able to ID it on a diagram easier, since you'e be able to just follow the diagram up one part. I'm pretty sure that part number is used with lots of different models, so I don't think it'll be different from 2nd to 3rd gen, but you should verify.
