2016 TRD OR suspension on 13 4X4

    Looking for setup suggestions. I'm putting a 2016 TRD OR suspension on my 2013 4X4. What can I expect from the ride quality? Anything else I should do while I'm there??     The heavier springs should raise it up a bit from our saggy old weak springs.

    Yeah the front will raise an inch. The rear shocks will stay the same. I'd like a more level ride but won't do spacers.

    I feel like putting 4600's in will give me a bit of an upgrade and keep me from dropping $1500+ on a total suspension upgrade.

    Just trying to figure out how to make the most out of these Bilstein's.

    Those yellow 4600s are stiff as hell, but still slightly better than stock

    Thanks AR. How stiff would you say over the regular 4X4 setup?
    I have the sides marked D & P so should be no problem.

    Just trying to figure out if there is anything else I should do while putting these in.

    its pretty stiff on an access cab, on a double cab it might not be as noticeable.

    if you have the factory black shocks and struts, you have a noticeable jump in stiffness and spring rate with those yellow/blue 4600s

    the reason the coilovers are side specific is because the driver's side has a slightly taller/stronger coil to counteract the weight of the gas tank, driver, and battery all being on the same side of the truck.

    just use plenty of antiseize when installing the new and take your time. You really shouldn't need anything other than what you already have pictured

    Thank you for the insight! I have a double cab so I'm hopeful it will still be a great daily driver while giving me an inch up front.

    I hate to burst your bubble, but its all stock height, i doubt you'll gain anything in terms of actual lift

    The 2016 TRD OR set up gives you an inch! That and I have the regular 4X4 setup.

    be sure to measure your hub to fender to compare your current suspension to the new once you get it installed, but I am skeptical my brother

    Will do and I'll take pictures. But I read a lot from the 3rd Gen page and it has been confirmed by Toyota/Bilstein. I'll try to find the page.
    That was a big push for me to get these instead of building a more expensive kit.
    They're cheaper
    Will give me 1 inch up front
    OEM quality and fitment
    Money saved can go towards a Prinsu roof rack. :)

    I just did this:

    5100s set on 0" with OME 883 coils
    Tsb leafs with all new oem hardware and bumpstops
    Rear 5100s

    I got almost 0.75" in the rear and 1.5" in the front.

    It was all pretty cheap too

    That looks great! From the sounds of it I'm sure ride quality wasn't negatively affected

    My worn out tokico oem suspension and flat leaf springs were so hard on my back, i don't know how i didn't break a leaf spring or worse, wreck.

    These 5100s are like butter. I love them already.

    This is how bad i let my leaf springs get(with a load on the truck):
