Hello guys just need a little help with my 2016 TRD SPORT with 23000 miles...

    1. Truck makes cricket CHIRPING SOUND at idle? And goes away soon as throttle is hit a bit? And it happens occasionally? I know it's still under warranty but like I said truck makes that SOUND only occasionally. Took it to dealer and obviously it wasnt making that sound when they chekced it.

    2. Braking issue, steering wheel shakes on highways when braked applied?
and someimes truck just doesnt stop smoothly. Like I don' know how to pronounce it. pads are kinda grabbing the rotors and let go a little and then grabbing them and let go a little very frequently?

And for the braking issue, I'm a rig driver so I don't abuse my tacoma ever so hard braking and erratic driving behaviour is not the issue. I baby this truck.

    Thanks alredy guys!

    1. There's a tsb for the fuel pump
    2. Possibly warped rotors

HPFP is most likely the source of the Chirping Crickets sound.

Warped rotors could be a lot of things, only way to fix it is to replace the rotors. Just don't go buying rotors unless you know for sure that's the issue since rotors aren't exactly cheap for a good set

    Ok thanks bud.
Also how much did you lift your truck up? Nice truck. And how much did those wheels and tires cost you?

3 inch lift. Wheels and tires cost 2200 all said and done including mounting, balancing, new lug nuts, etc.

Looks awesome...i thought it was 6 inch lift cuz it looks def more than 3". But I think that's cuz of bigger wheels n tires. Besides 3 inches how much u think those wheels lifted your truck up? And also did you go for Speedo adjustment?

Thanks, the tires added another inch just about. I have not gotten a speedo adjusent mainly because I can't justify the cost of 200+ to do that and from my understanding the speedo adjust only fixes what's displayed on the speedo not what the truck ecu receives so it won't help with things like shift points.since.they are based off a combination of wheel speed, torque demand, rpms, and such
