2016 with smartkey is the actual key supposed to unlock tailgate?

    I just got my 2016, there supposed to be a separate key for the tailgate or is the key that come out of the fob supposed to lock and unlock the tailgate? The key works for the doors and glove box, doesn’t seem to go in to the tailgate though. TIA
