I'm in the same boat here in OH.

 

Well managed to destroy my driveshaft last weekend wheeling. Won't be able to fix in time. Sorry fellas

 

Pull it and drive in 4wd. That's how I made the 11hr drive home last year. If it's a short bed you should be able to find one or have it retubed I have a long bed and have been searching for a spare since last labor day. I'm still looking.

 

Is access cab lb same as DC short?

 

Don't quote me on this but I believe they are the same. From what I remember the wheelbase are the same. I wouldn't know why they would have a different driveshaft config.

 

If I'm gonna pay for another I'm going custom one piece. But I'm selling my truck soon so not worth it

 

I have a dclb the drive shaft is waaay to long for a one piece I plan on getting a short bed drive shaft and getting it retubed for my truck. At some point.

 

Krawl box then one piece....

Hotel in Memphis has been booked for the trip there and for the trip back!

Need to finish out the shopping list and get everything finalized... one less thing to worry about.

 

You headin back Sun or Mon? I have to do the drive there in 1 day on thurs but havent decided when I'm heading back yet. I have that Mon day off and can take Tues if I want.

 

I will be leaving Windrock sometime Sunday after the last trail ride more than likely, going to stop in Memphis again on the way back and then spend some time in Memphis on Monday. I have to be back at work Tuesday, so have to be back Monday sometime.

 

I'm about 1hr45 min east of Pittsburgh.

 

Have you looked at your route yet?

 

You my be able to meet up with a few of us traveling out on I81. Planning to meet at the first rest stop in West Virginia on I81 South around 6:30AM on Thursday.

 

I look the morning I go the first year I went I took 79 to 81 then last year I went 79 to 64 to 75 and down. Probably the way I'll go this year.

 

Idk though the 15min slower rt wasn't too bad though. We'll see. I stop a good bit to let the dog out. And we have to stop at a sonic and pig out as well. It usually takes about 10hrs roughly. I'll leave at 6am thursday

 

Hmmm...ya I'm prolly heading down through CBUS and Cincy....its an hr shorter for me. Me shooting straight down 77 and bumping into guys somewhere in WV may be way outta the way for me. I'll look into it tonight.

 

That's fine. I actually like driving by myself anyway. I drive like a grandma. Haha. I take my good ole time. Not in a rush. Haha
