Sounds good. I need to be able to drive my truck home, so I'll go to whatever level that allows me, haha.

Last annoying question. Says registration is open til 9 that Thursday. Would I be allowed to enter if I show up at 10/11pm just to camp? And actually register the next morning? Google tells me it's a 7 hour drive. Hoping to leave directly from work, which would have me there at 10 earliest.
Otherwise I guess I could rough it in a nearby hotel till morning, lol.

 

I am not sure on that question. I would send them a message on Facebook and see what they say.

This job I have is killing me. Just realized through a coworker that asking for these days off may land me in our "black out period" at the beginning of the school year. Not sure if it's still a thing as we have a new director compared to last year. I'm going to be pissed if i can't attend one damn toyota offroad event this year.

Talked with my boss yesterday. The likelihood I'll be denied these days off is strong. Damn school. guess the kids need to be babysat the entire first month of the school year.

Are there any other big events every year? Both jambo and this land in blackout periods for me nearly every year.

Just looked up the dates. It ends the day before I leave for Thailand's lantern festival. ....damn I have a difficult schedule this year.
I guess I'll have to stick to local stuff and plan out a big trip next year.

Well dang! Other than that, there are not many other events I can think of.

 

Ya I'm screwed for any large events. Ill have to poke around for small groups heading out to cool places. I onky have about 3 spare vaca days to use this year, so heading all the way to moab is probably out of the equation.

 

Are you guys putting Tacomaworld where it says groups on the registration page???

Yes I am. If enough TacomaWorld people come we could be in the running for most club in attendance.

Crap. I didn't know there was a TW group. I just registered over the weekend. Can't wait for it again. Need to get some spares though.

 

You can call them and put it in for u. That's what I had to do. They did it for me.
