So does this mean the year end sale is around the corner, im planning on getting a 20q6 to save some dough. Any ideas how much i may be able to save now that the 2017 are coming. Obviously everyone wants the newer trucks so the 2016 will remain on the lot longer. Thanks for any input

I sense you are new to Tacomas. Year doesn't mean squat. People want them just the same regardless of year. They don't "sit". I'd be shocked if the '16s saw any price reduction.

It depends on the dealer's inventory and what model truck you're looking to get. If they move a lot of trucks throughout the year I can't imagine you getting much of a break. If they have a lot of 16 on the lot still you might be able to work a decent deal on in stock inventory.

that being said, I wouldnt get your hopes up on getting the exact truck you want. Just be aware that you might have to settle if you're still looking to get a 2016

'18 Ford Ranger will be out the fall of 2017. Looking forward to see what it looks like.

It was 103F here today. Driving a new truck or car with the windows down is juvenile UNLESS it's just for a few seconds to dump the 160F heat inside the cab. Use the freaking AC.

They didn't seen any reduction in price. I have 2017 being delivered in 2.5 weeks. The 2016 was the same price. They wouldn't come down it.

Indeed. I don't even think the '15s saw a drop when the '16s came out. At least by me.

Did I see the 17's will come standard with 4.30 gears? If so that's almost enough reason alone to trade.

Does this mean the 2017 is going to be the same price as 2016?

My dealer offered me $35,014 for my Limited with 15k miles. Paid $36,900 for it so I think I'll trade down to a Black '17 Off Road and swap everything over.

How does that differ from what they currently are? How is it better?

If it's true, to me it shows Toyots knows our trucks are underpowered or under geared. 4.30's will make a stock Tacoma feel like the 2nd Gen IMO.

It would be better with a larger tire and better crawl ratio off-road.

What will it do to the mileage, though?

From the pdf that mpanwar posted, and if it's accurate, it looks like the Autos will now be 4.3 and the Manuals will be 3.9. That's opposite of what it is now (AT - 3.9, MT - 4.3). Hard to believe Toyota would do that but we'll just have to wait and see if it's true.
