2017 Are Landing !

Dealership called today and said there was a two week delay on them being able to put in my order. They are saying it will now be 8-10 weeks from today before mine is delivered.

Anyone else have theirs delayed?

I ordered a pretty basic truck so didn't know if they just aren't willing to give up an allocation so early when they could get a higher spec one on the lot to sell or if I'm over thinking it haha.

 

That's quit possible. A dealer did that to me and my Corvette order. They would not admit it, but I am comfident that is what happened.

So, I got on cars.com and found exactly what I wanted 2.5 hours from my house at another dealer and state.

It was rather fun pulling into the dealer that was pulling that shit, walking in, and cancelling that order.

Revenge is best served cold.

Rear window switch is exactly like the Tundra Doublecab and place next to power outlet switch. Sorry for the crappy pic.

 

I started looking at the website of some of the nearby dealerships and the 2017s are showing up in their inventory. It looks like they have officially arrived!

 

Did the headlights have black bezels like the build sheets claim or same old chrome from 2017?

 

No black bezels on the off road. Exterior is unchanged.
Black bezel headlights and tails are for pro trim only.

 

how did the back window look from the outside? same i am guessing?

Looks like where the clutch start cancel switch goes. I wonder if they will not offer the power rear window on the MT models.

 

The new switch is in between clutch and power invertor.

EFF a power sliding window sideways. I want the back window like the Tundra and 4runners.

Oh I thought it would have been similar to the 4Runners or Tundra Crew Max rear windows that roll down. But I guess that's not doable because of the vents that help seal the cabin behind the rear seat.

 

First attachment is 2016 TRD OR
Second attachment is 2017 TRD OR

 

Surly it's a misprint. Seems like an ackward change to make.

 

If the 17 is still there tomorrow I'll double check the headlights.

 

If they did make this change I'm glad I got a 2016 Manual.

Got my price today for a fully loaded OR. Notice I said fully loaded. The dealer INCLUDED all taxes and FEES. The OTD cost will be 40,255.00. Is this a good deal. I believe I can do a bit better. What do you think.
