It doesn't show up as a port install option on the link you gave, but it is listed under EXTERIOR...which makes me think it will be standard like the power rear window? I certainly hope so.

It also shows a M1 DECK RAIL CAMERA MOUNT, I think that's new. Any ideas?

The port install option was on a buy sheet posted elsewhere on tw. I couldn't find it again. The link I posted was a separate location that I found it listed ( as you mentioned). I called the dealer handling my order today, but they don't know yet.

Its astonishing how many dealers are clueless to the process when sourcing popular vehicles. I've shared on previous posts on this thread, I would contact/work through the internet mgr at any given dealership. They tend to be way more knowledgeable when it comes to allocation, sourcing, etc. I called almost a dozen dealership looking for a MT Pro cement and found 4 that had them actually on there allocation. It also depends on how you approach the person you're planning to work with over the phone, if you treat the process and purchase professionally being courtesy can go a long way. Just my 2 pennies! If you were lookig in the SE I could point you to a few Pro's actually on allocation.

My thoughts, if they don't know then they're most likely not getting any in and I would start looking elsewhere immediately.

I hope their build options are accurate. Shows that by adding the appearance package to my SR5 I now get the power sliding rear window. That would be freaking sweet if thats true.

I'm going to shoot out everyone's 17 power rear windows, cause I'm jealous.

If you do go check out the 2017 again tomorrow, can you also check if the grill is the same. I've seen "Black Grille with Chrome Surround" listed as a standard option for the TRD ORs. Thanks.

What I'm curious about is how they will do the power window switch with the MT. Will they make a new pod with another switch spot?

A member here replaced the vestigial opening above it with a switch pod (y u no door, Toyota?) but if a spare blank there could be a nice option for those adding additional lights.

I'm assuming the skid plate listed above is the same one as the Pro had. I liked the look of my old accessory one even if it wasn't functiona

I wonder if the OR getting Homelink will lower the price of the mirror for those who want to add it. The price for the Limited mirror was something like $900 from Toyota. I'd love to have it but not at that price.

I called a buddy that works as an internet manager of a toyota dealer near me to ask him some questions about these trucks. At first he told me no mechanical changes other than the pro so I mentioned the information packet that is going around on here that shows the automatics having the differential gearing changed to 4.3, he said it didn't say anything but he would look up the specs.

Much to his surprise he said that the gear ration does appear to have been changed around the board. Automatic or manual 4x4 or 4x2 the information he was pulling up showed 4.3 geared differentials. Time will tell if toyota is giving the dealers false info as well as their information packet but this could be good news for those hoping for the 4.3 in autos.

I asked him about the power tailgate he said he couldn't see anything that would make him believe it's there but he will have his first 2017s on the lot in 1 1/2 weeks so I'll ask him about it again when the time comes if we still don't have information on it.

That stinks for us 16' guinea pigs if they put 4.30's in auto's now.

How much better are 4.30s? Do they get better mileage or anything?
