Anyone have a blower motor issue? I hit 15k and had a strange noise coming from in the glove box. Toyota finally got a replacement and said the part was on back order so I’m assuming it’s a common problem. Mine was cracked

Common problem....my '14 had a bad blower by 8K miles..replaced under warranty. There are a lot of posts on here about the problem...for both 2nd and 3rd gens.

These things have had bad blower motors since the early 2nd gens. Really surprising they haven't addressed it. I've been lucky with my 2nd gen, still too new on the 3rd gen. Finger's crossed.

Mine went out after 8 months last june. Took a month+ for the new one to get in and installed the same day. At the time there was well over 1k(maybe 3k, I cant remember now) on back order...

They fixed it next day thank God, this Louisiana heat is bad. Autozone said the part was too new to get.

I just bought my 17 double cab, 3 weeks ago, it’s been in the shop half of that time waiting on a blower motor. They said at least 2 weeks...bummed
