I'm just surprised it hasn't already sold. So many people have to order them and usually more than MSRP?

I got low balled at another dealer today, of course. However I can deduct the trade allowance from the Sequoia price and save taxes so there is a price break point that I can't go below on a private sale.

I know, if someone is waiting on a dealer allocation they could snag mine right now and have money in the bank to customize etc.

Ouch, where were you a week ago? I looked for 2 months for a private sale taco. Paid $500 over invoice 1 week ago for a TRD OR. The sales tax alone would equal the price difference+shipping cost to LV NV. If you can figure something out, I'll jump ship on mine right now. Question, do the PRO's come with premium/technology pckg similar to the TRD OR's? Mine has climate control for passenger, seat warmers, sunroof tow etc. Can send send some interior pics to desertmarble@yahoo.com? More importantly, can you figure out a way to get rid of mine for yours, lol?

They come with everything except a sunroof. I got offered 40K for it by another dealer yesterday that has an SR5 4WD Sequoia with added park assist sonar and the premium package that gets the leather seating for 8 with the 10 and 8 way power chairs. Also has the dual USB port package and the entune navigation package. Pretty much a limited model without blind spot monitoring and memory driver seat. They are offering it to me for 50K. They discounted the Sequoia $6,535. I'm saving $2500 in taxes doing the trade so essentially getting 42,500 for the Pro. Dealer said this is the first time in 25 years he has offered their invoice price on a trade in, they get new Pros for 40K. Not sure if I believe him but I think this is my best deal considering the markdown on the Sequoia, thats the lowest 2017 loaded Sequoia I have found, I have to get the SR5 since it seats 8. The Limiteds come standard with a console second row for 7 seats. You have to option out of that when building it and not many out there I looked.

That must be the M/T, I guess the dealer was telling the truth if you add the cost of auto transmission its 40k. I doubt they would ever give you more than they can get a new one for so the limit trade in value for these is probably their invoice. I was offered 35K in Sarasota and 36K in Pinellas Park.

Ok I made the deal today. The salesman left his folder with me while I filled forms and I happened to look in it and saw an invoice for the sequoia they are transfering. Are these legit? If so they must want my truck cause Iam well under their invoice unless you don't count admin fee or delivery fees.

Then Iam happy. They gave me a good deal on their truck and I got what I wanted for mine. Just wish I could have kept the Pro too. It's a great truck and I will miss it. Had to do it though.

It will be sold in less than a week. Different kind of ride but you will love the Sequoia. Well except mpg....

I actually heard a supercharger can help with mpg if you run it right. Have to convince the wife. Lol

I'm sure you it was a tough long wait for your Pro. I know it was for me to get my long bed OR. Good luck with the Sequoia.

DA, thx for the reply. Glad you got a deal on the new mini bus. I'm pretty sure admin/delivery are added to the invoice price. I would have bought that pro if it was posted a week earlier, it wasn't meant to be I guess.

20Taco17, those prices you posted, those dont include stupid crap like floor mats, mudflaps, bedliner etc etc that the dealer nickel and dimes you on, correct? Also, from people I know in the industry, the 2 things dealers will NOT negotiate or dip into is holdback and destination, they wont budge on that. Is that accurate info?

Floor mats are standard but the cargo mat is added and on the invoice. I would add extras after the deal unless you can negotiate for their cost. Iam sure they are going to sell my truck for msrp and make a few grand. Sorry we missed each other with the timing. Enjoy your OR its an awesome truck.
