    Hi All,

Driving down the highway today, my AC stopped, the climate control panel went blank, and my outside temperature now reads E. I can’t adjust fan speed, can’t adjust the internal temperature, it’s all just blank.

I pulled off on the exit ramp, shut it off, restarted it...same. Drove home, disconnected the battery for a few minutes, restarted it...same. Checked all my fuses, nothing blown. Nothing visibly wrong anywhere except for these symptoms.

The only thing I found in search was the TSB regarding not cooling enough, but I didn’t find anything related to these symptoms.

Anyone have anything like this happen?

Curious what method you used to check all fuses.

Pulled out any that had any reference to AC, heater, or similar, looked at them, then tested with a meter.

I'm curious as to what climate control you have. I have a '17 sport and I don't have climate control. Fan speed and cold to hot are the only controls I have.

While I understand your trying to understand the source of the issue, I would just take it to the dealer if it's under warranty and have them correct the problem. It may well be a blown fuse but that begs the question of why did the fuse blow in the first place.

Here is what I've got, this is what it looks like when it's working. At the moment the blue screen is blank and shows nothing. No control at all works...no temp, no fan, none of the buttons light up, no seat heaters, etc. Adding to it, the external temperature on the dash reads E degrees.

Maybe something came unplugged behind the climate control. Pull the dash front off.

No climate control and heated seats sounds like a fuse problem. There are two areas that have fused, under hood and dash. Just because it isn't labeled AC doesn't mean there isn't a blown fuse. Check them all with a test light while the fuse is still in place and with key on the on position.

You can run a pretty good diagnostic through the control panel.

Been clear from the beginning that it's likely a dealer/warranty issue, but until I get it there, I'd rather not sweat myself out of the truck if I can get it to kick on somehow. Looks like nobody has had this same issue?

I used my multi-meter with the continuity beeper to check the fuses both under the dash and the ones under the hood. I did check others aside from being labeled AC, heating, heated seats, etc., but many of them weren't worth checking. For example, taillights, horn, radio, sunroof, door locks...all the stuff that works fine I didn't bother to touch. The unknowns that I couldn't figure out by the three or four letter description I also checked. Nothin'.

When I get home from work I'll probably follow OMGitsme's suggestion and see if something behind the climate control came unplugged. I also thought about unplugging the thermometer for the external temperature up by the grill and seeing if that had any effect since it reads E degrees.

Tried this on my lunch break, no-go. Didn't get a response at all. Sigh.

Might be one of the 3 bottom codes from the list. Those won't appear on a control panel diagnostic.

I say it all the time. You're the man @splitbolt always coming in clutch with the screen grabs.

You'd be surprised man. I popped a fuse for the radio and the tpms, the windows, headlights and I think abs we're all wonky. If a module supply fuse popped it'll affect everything downstream.

Absolutely right. Just because it doesn't say the circuit you can't "assume" that the the fuse on the circuit may not be responsible.

Also to the OP. I wouldn't be pulling stuff apart and checking connections. The dealer may blame you for a problem they find. Also the chance of a loose connection on the panel is extremely remote.

Checked every single fuse last night on the truck, under the hood and under the dash. Used my multimeter first, then went back with a light just for piece of mind. Not a single one blown, all good. Disconnected the outside temperature sensor up by the grille...no change, same. Plugged it back in...no change, same. Disconnected the battery again for 15 minutes...no change, same. Tried the process again provided by splitbolt and no response, no lights, nothing at all. I did not take the dash apart but I did look around under the dash and in the engine compartment...nothing to note. So I guess I'm just a roasting turkey (or, with the current humidity, steaming like some veggies) until my dealer appointment. I give up.
