I don't actually work in the division that makes Nalgene (laboratory products group, I think). We're a mega corp with 50,000 employees or something. But, maybe I can locate a contact. :)

It not about how much of a pain in the ass we are to you, wait, maybe thats how we get you to do it. Every one be a pain in the ass to @TRDTDI.

Shit I forgot what I was really going to say as my tangent took me too far away. hmmmm.

Oh ya, its not about you making money, its about us saving money, I mean its about your companies product being in the hands of many folks who will draw lots of attention, because they have a Nalgene bottle that fits in their cup holders, just think of how well you employer will do then. $$$$$$$

I found this at Home Depot that works perfectly as a large cup holder. I just put it on the front passenger floor. Can even add ice to keep things cold. For $2.99 you can't beat it. Try it, you will like it!

I love the fact that I can fit an entire 6 pack (soda of coarse) throughout the various cup holders and they're all within reach.

Well that's poor planning on Toyotas part. 12 packs are far more cost effective.

That's why I buy 16 ounce cans. They're priced right if you know where to shop.

I already have a 4 lb. tub of Damprid sitting in my passenger floorboard. My 30 oz. Ozark Trail S.S. tumbler or my 34 oz. Bubba Keg fit nicely in the cup holders though.

got lost in his cup holders, oh wait that was his issue he couldn't get lost in them. Maybe he is in the junk yard looking for bigger cup holders?

Yea, sadly, it appears he got intimidated by TW members.

I thought he had a legitimate concern, especially if the 2nd gen could have accommodated those containers. Seems the 3rd gen downgraded the cup holder functionality.

It's not just about the Nalgenes (which by the way is THE bottle for the outdoorsy types - you know, people that find utility in a Tacoma outside of rock/mall crawling). My go-to water bottle for long drives (below) is a reasonably-sized 1L bottle, and it doesn't fit.

    IMG_2414.jpg

I'm mostly annoyed that this bottle doesn't fit purely because the cup holders that would fit otherwise are squared off. I don't mind having a couple different cup holder size options to choose from within easy reach, but it would just be nice if at least one was made for bottles without a taper.
