2017 DCLB Bouncy

    I got a 1” block installed in the rear with Bilstein 5100. On some roads it rides absolutely fine even better than stock, and on some I can’t stand how bouncy it gets. I had this problem after going up 1” in the front with 5100’s and I took it in and I think they did a tire rebalance as I had purchased new tires and it fixed the problem. Now it is the rear that is a little bouncy. Maybe the tires? Anyone else have an experience like such?

    What tires did you get, size, load rated, etc.

    I have done Bilstein HD 4600 yellows all four corners in my '85 K3500srw GMC 6.2 diesel and my old '94 K2500 Suburban 6.5 turbo diesel with great results.

    I want to have a bit more compression damping in the Tacoma, especially in the front for street driving. Off road, the stock HD 4600 rock.

    There you have it, with a big heavy tires which flex less on a light weight truck, will be less bouncy.
