Good days man, good days. My daughter showed me a quote the other day that said one day you and your friends went out to play, not knowing it would be the last time. Hurt my feelings.

Not sure about the 3 wheelers being life savers. I think a lot of neck surgeons got rich after they brought out the Honda ATC.

I always wanted one as a kid..... then they got banned. Lots of them still around. Maybe it’s not too late for me to flip one over.

Tecates, tri z, Honda 250rs, those were the days. Then Suzuki comes out with that quadzilla, Yamaha with the banshee, none of the new sport atvs compare to the 2 strokes rush of instant power

Never thought i would see 20 years old. We were Nitro Circus before there was a Nitro Circus. Not many can claim a 60 ft bicycle jump...

And I'm still riding. A lot slower, a lot safer but still bombing down the trails. The wrecks hurt a lot more now and it takes forever to heal. Broke a foot last year and that took forever. Broke a finger this year (clipped a tree) and I doubt that thing will ever be the same. Oh well, still having fun riding and I went to see Puddle of Mudd a few months ago lol.

I have a confession...I rocked white Nike hightops with grey swoosh logo with skin tight parachute pants...because I couldn't find leather pants. Ha!

We were BMX 'ers when Mongoose and Cooks Bro's bikes were the shit. And checkered Vans slip on shoes.

It was a big deal to pull off a "table top" without castrating yourself.

I never seen a thread get derailed like this one sorry op, just reliving the 80s. On a side note though back then if you bought a car with a v6 and didn’t like the performance, just slap a v8 in, bolted up to the same transmission.

The thing to have was a PK Ripper or a ‘Factory’ Kuwahara running on Snake Bellies in my neighborhood.

And then, like with anything, it becomes standard. The Ollie or bunny hop was gnar back in the day, but now 5 year olds are doing it. 10 year olds are tailwhipping like nothing. I rode kink bike co and lived in a house of riders and absurd parties.

And if you didn’t like the performance of the straight 4 in your Datsun 510, you put a V8 in that bitch too.

I remember PK and Kuwahara. I had a Raleigh Rampar...ha! It was for the budget minded BMX'er. I did mod it out with a 1st gen Mongoose handle bar clamp (Goose neck clamp?).
