Sorry if this is already known but I didn't see someone with a 2017 mentioning this. I can see a slight vibration in the middle and after examination I have about a 1/4" gap between the hood and mount.

After reading much here I will just buy the 3M foam and treat the spots that need it.

The 2016's that were effected, had defective adhesive. Not sure what's up with yours but if the body glue doesn't look separated perhaps it's a manufacturing issue? I would take it to the dealer first to have them look at it. If they won't warranty or repair it then take it into your own hands

Maybe you are right. I just don't want it coming back worse than before, sometimes weird ones like this backfire at the dealer.
I do appreciate the advice though, I might end up going that route.

My 2016 Limited has had this vibrating issue from day 1 of pick up from dealer. Finally had the head service mgr look at the hood and right a way he and the body shop mgr ordered a new hood. Hood has arrived and will be painted /installed on the 28/29 of this month. I have seen one other '16 Tacoma that had the same issue and the paint shop did a super match on paint.
