If we put your prerunner in the middle of our group we can help you over or off of any issue that comes up. Just make sure you have a rated recovery point fore and aft. And that chintzy little stamped loop on the front is a tie down point and not for recovery. I don't remember which years came with the awesome hook on the front but one of those would be perfect.

 

Pelfreybilt front bumper with 2 d ring shackle mounts and sliders should arrive at end of feb, and mobtown front skid. Already have the winch waiting, i have a 2 inch hitch d ring mount for the rear.

Ive replaced the the lil stamped piece with an SOS concepts replacement as well.

I'm getting ready too. I'm slowly buying supplies and camping stuff. I got a tent for Christmas and dad gave me his old Coleman stove. I cranked it up for the first time since the late 70's and it started up on the first try. We let it burn for about 20mins and the flame was solid. I should be there from early Friday morning till Sunday afternoon. I'm just waiting for them to open up the registration.

 

Check all the gaskets as they really are the only parts that wear out.

 

For those of you local to DFW, Toyota Trail Riders, the group that puts on Lone Star Jamboree, is having their monthly meeting this Thursday the 12th at Pappa's BBQ, 2231 West NW Hwy, Dallas, TX 75220. Come out, see some trucks, meet some people that will be there, learn some insider information, eat mediocre BBQ.

It seems like a couple times a day I'm at the site to see if we can register yet.

I don't think they have an online storefront but they do take phone orders. I had no problem getting mine from the property office after I got checked in for the event.

 

Same, want to register ASAP to get that good price!

Not sure on that, I am going to get mine this weekend when at Barnwell.

I think it may be in person or phone, don't think I have seen a way to order online.

 

I reached out to the Jambo folks last night and they quickly replied and let me know that they were still potentially a couple weeks out from opening enrollment. He said to monitor their facebook page as they would announce it there as soon as it was live.

Seeing as I do not have Facebook I will be reloading the page multiple times a day, or until one of you nice folks informs us all here!

 

As soon as I see it I will let everyone know unless someone else does.

Just FYI, it did not really sell out last year, I was able to register I think in March or so.

 

I'm sure @tgormtx will let us know when registration is live.

And for the OHV sticker, if there is not a local place to buy it, you best bet is to call the number. There is no guarantee that Barnwell will have them available when you show up.

Don't worry, I will update this thread when registration opens. I'm the one programming the registration form and am a little behind, but we should be on track for exciting news soon.
