The 10 minutes to adjust during segments is shit... None of y'all find me and draw a mustache on me with a sharpie while I'm asleep in the stands...

Does this mean they're gonna wack the 600 into quarters, hey maybe they could have a half time show so 70% of the viewers could make a bathroom run.

I agree with everyone that the format and rule changes are going to be bad for the sport. Remember the 97 Daytona 500 when Dale Sr. flipped his car and still finished the race. Thats legendary, thats why I watch Nascar. Lets see how long this new style will last.

I wouldn't be surprised if a halftime show was on the table for the 600.

Mountain Dew and Little Debbie snack cakes presents the Daytona 500 halftime show featuring Weird Al Yankovic's tribute to the greatest hits of the 2 Live Crew.

This is it in a nutshell. When you join NASCAR there is a gag order. You cannot openly disagree or ridicule the France family or partners. You have no rights of free speech, you have no privacy. Something done outside of racing, the track, or business end of it is looked at. Your automatically guilty of anything and suspensions are issued and then you need to "work your way back" into NASCAR. I.E., BRAIN WASHING..
    No more......

Best example is Kurt Busch, he was not guilty and they had demonized him, bit after he was proven not guilty, magically they are OK with him. France really has messed the sport up.

Yeah well I'm not in NASCAR so I can call Brian France a NASTARD as much as I want.:rofl:He is in not the man his father was and is, IMO, influenced way too much by other sports authorities. Give NASCAR back to the fans. Let the NFL be the NFL and let Nascar be Nascar. That's my vote.:burnrubber:

    BOMBSHELL:
"Meanwhile, I'm told that Edwards is being paid more than $15 million to sit-out this year and that he will return to action next year at the wheel of a third Penske Racing Ford. Penske runs two cars for Brad Keselowski and Joey Logano and has been planning to expand to three cars. Penske currently runs a third car for Ryan Blaney in partnership with the Wood Brothers, one of NASCAR's longest-running teams, so RP's team is entirely prepared to run Edwards next year."

Plausible deniability? I don't see what's to gain. Gibbs cars on the average perform better than Penske's. Seems like Kirby is up to no good again, as there is no other dirt to report. Typical liberally biased media.

Welp. I said no NASCAR races this year but opportunities and tickets keep dropping in my lap. If the weather holds out this weekend, I might be heading down to Daytona for the ARCA race, the Clash, and Daytona 500 qualifying. 80% chance of thunderstorms all day and night Saturday would mean all this stuff taking place Sunday on a green track. Better wear my chainsaw gear to protect from all the flying debris.
