2017 Nascar Thread

These are good picks.

 

Picks were not solely based on fastest cars but who i thought would have best pit strats and least penalties. 48 team practiced pit road almost entirely in 2nd practice. Also nascar gave all teams pit speed monitoring so they could adjust accordingly so we will see a lot less penalty for speeding this race.

 

Im gonna try and give my opinion pieces on picks after final practices every race this year and then reflect on them afterwards and see how bad i fucked up!

Everyone elses opinions welcome

 

This is a good approach. Some folks root for the same guy they crush on every week. Others like to look at practice, current team trends, and past performances to speculate on finishing order. Both are fine, but the latter is more personally appealing. As for my fav., as a longtime fan of the team, I'll be rooting for the #21. He's looking good out there. Vegas would be a nice place for that first W, and the Ford teams have a starry history at LVMS.

 

Im really secretly hoping he wins; im a fan of his. His downfall is inexperience team wise and getting in and off pit road. If they can be consiste t tomorrow he has a very good shot at winning. Track position is very important here.

 

Wahoo three races in and there's a fight on pit road, that's the Kyle Bush we know and love.

 

Fuck logano. I'd put him into the fucking stands at every plate track if I was out there. Once again he plays like a bitch, runs like a bitch, is a bitch. KB had enough balls to fight everyone on his own...Dale SR would be proud he didn't take shit from a pussy!

 

Damn tough for Keselowski, was stupid fast and front hub issue with two laps to go, sucks. thats the way it goes sometimes!

 

My favorite pit road altercation was at the Texas in 2014. Brad had dumped Jeff in the final laps, Jeff decided the kid needed a talkin to and Harvick comes along tells Brad "If you're gonna drive like an asshole get in there and defend that crap!"

I can't invest any time or emotion into this little boys spat other than "none to me" is the funniest damn quote of the season.

you think they will let Kyle race at Phoenix, Nascar will need to make a point, this is not allowed. Although we all know this is what get the fans fired up and brings in the numbers.

 

The 22 is not the golden boy of NASCAR... Time for him to get taught they won't cater to him

Nascar is staying out of it, theyre gonna let the drivers settle it off track. Now if it continues to pheonix i think there will be fines and suspensions.
