Reading pretty far into this thread (chassis inventory), looks like SHR has given Danica the short end of the stick in providing sub-par equipment for years. They were running used-up hand me downs from the 4 & 39 teams, and also using a re-skinned exhibition chassis from '09. Looks like the times she ran well were when it was with a new, purpose built car. I know part of the ladder in motorsports is to prove your merit in sub-par equipment and eventually get a primo seat, but with the $ corporations were throwing into NASCAR 5 years ago, she; or any well-backed Cup team, shouldn't have been given junk and expected to succeed.

As much as I'm surprised, I'm really not surprised. I guess they figured if she couldn't compete in the first few years, they'd race the 10 team as economical as possible until her contract was over. Sad.

 

No it didn’t,maybe it was just because I was in a good mood (with Kenseth kicking ass and all)

 

Last night was a snore but this race’s end has been great! Poor old Elliot Sadler. Good try though. Great back & forth with William Byron. Great run (finally) for Cole Custer.

 

Hate it for Sadler....

 

I mean, he didn't even win a race this year, so it's not like he "Lost" the championship, but it's gotta be frustrating after being so close so many times.

Congrats to Hornish for stepping in and finishing 2nd , too.

 

Sadler is gunna win Daytona in February... For hunts brother pizza!

Don't be a sore loser. The best car and driver all season won the championship. The only ass cry baby Busch should be beating is Adam Stevens.

 

They need to fix the format... One bump in one race is what decides it... Bullshit.

 

At least there's no more NBC for awhile... I wont have to hear adversity, home track, cancer, mile and a halves, for a long time.

 

The format is shit but that bump had nothing to do with KB not passing the 78. Come on man! If anything the 42 could have pressed the issue and gotten passed Kyle. The best man won, finally the top car for the season takes it.
